Embarking on the journey of implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS) is an exciting step for any organization. To ensure a smooth transition and set the stage for success, it’s crucial to have a well-structured rollout meeting. Here are six key agenda items to include in your EOS rollout get-together.

1. Company Background

Start by revisiting the history of your company. The visionary or founder should share the story of how and why the company was started. This serves as a grounding reminder for everyone and reinforces the purpose and passion that drive your organization.

2. Introduction to EOS®

Next, discuss how the leadership team was introduced to EOS. Was it through a trusted referral or a book like Traction? Sharing this journey helps the team understand the foundation and credibility of the EOS process.

3. The EOS Model

Introduce the EOS Model, represented by the orange circle with six key components. Explain that the goal is to achieve 80% proficiency in each of these components, setting a clear target for the team.

4. Vision/Traction Organizer™ (VTO)

Share the Vision/Traction Organizer™ with the team. Each leadership team member should take a part in presenting the eight questions of the VTO, emphasizing unity and commitment to EOS. Focus primarily on core values, as they define who you are as a company. Briefly touch on other elements like the marketing plan and long-term vision, knowing they will be revisited.

5. Accountability Chart

Present the accountability chart, even if it’s only at the leadership team level. This visual representation clarifies roles and responsibilities, fostering transparency and alignment within the team.

6. Next Steps

Conclude the meeting by outlining the next steps. Inform attendees that department leaders will soon start running Level 10 Meetings™ and introduce concepts like Rocks and the accountability chart. Ensure these steps are scheduled to begin within a week or two to maintain momentum and engagement.
